The following is from our 2024 festival.

Thanks to overwhelming support from the birding community and the efforts of several key people who created a new organization, along with a committed staff willing to come back after a 2 year hiatus, We’re Back!

We are super excited about our new location at Radisson Resort at the Port, Cape Canaveral, FL and especially since it provides the opportunity to do everything from there – sleep there, eat there, leave on field trips from there, go to presentations there, go to Expo Center there, all in one awesome convenient location.  Please be sure to check the link for discounted rates for festival attendees.

We are excited about the keynote speakers that have committed to participating, and a huge shout out and thank you to all the sponsors and exhibitors that came back to support us, that speaks volumes!.

Full registration Wed – Sun by December 20, 2023 (early bird deadline) $75.00

Full registration Wed – Sun by December 21, 2023 through January 12, 2024 (advance registration deadline) $85

Weekend registration Fri – Sun by December 20, 2023 (early bird deadline) $50

Weekend registration Fri – Sun through January 12, 2024 (advance registration deadline) $60

Onsite full registration opens January 24, 2024 $95

Onsite Weekend registration opens January 24, 2024 $70

There will be an admin or processing fee of $10.95 per registration type.


By December 20, 2023 – $20 fee plus non-refundable $10.95 Administrative Fee = $30.95

By January 12, 2024 – $30 fee plus non-refundable $10.95 Administrative Fee = $40.95

January 13-29, 2024 – all monies non-refundable

Before you click the “Registration Here” Button do these steps:

  1. Grab a notepad and makea list (for each attendee) from the Speakers, Field Trips, Photography, and ID Workshop tabs and select the all the events you want to attend.
  1. List the Name, Date, and Times of the speaker/field trip/photography session/ID workshop. (Make sure nothing is overlapping to avoid making changes later)

(Note: you can register up to 10 people at one time)

  1. Return to SCBWA Home Page and select the REGISTRATION Tab

Click the “Register Here” button. You will automatically be transferred to our new digital registration software “Cvent”.
Select your registration type and begin completing the requested fields. Next, bring your list of the events you wish to attend. Repeat for the all attendees you are registering and proceed to checkout. You can review the list of all your choices. Follow the prompts to checkout by credit card. Just before you complete your registration you will have the option to make changes by adding or removing sessions. Once your payment is received, you will receive an email confirmation. If you need to make any changes after you have completed your registration, follow the directions in your confirmation email.
